NSGold is active in Nova Scotia, Canada, where our gold properties are located and in Sonora, Mexico where our silver property is located.
Our Nova Scotia properties consist of a total of eight separate projects that are primarily gold targets.
They include:
- Projects Maguma type gold deposits with historic production such as Mooseland, Leipsigate, Blockhouse and Indian Path:
- properties that include base metal potential as well as gold Cheticamp Highlands and French Village projects both located on Cape Breton Island, and
- New prospective properties such as Moosehead and Ecum Secum
NSGold’s gold projects are in the province of Nova Scotia and are wholly owned with subject to a residual royalty to the vendors.
Mexico, Dios Padre consists of 3 claims totalling 280 hectares in the eastern Sierra Madre Mountain range about midway between Hermosillo and Chihuahua in east central part of the state of Sonora, Mexico. Historically an estimated 16 million ounces of silver, was mined between Jesuit operations in the 17th Century, Mining by L.V. Limited between 1860 and 1910, sporadic artisanal mining and Cia Minera Suararipa SA de CV in the late 1960’s early 70’s. Estimates range from 50 to 220 Million ounces remain to be mined from the orebody.
Extensions to the orebody and related breccia zones are evident on the surface lending to speculation that additional ore zones may exist on the property.
